Sourdough Irish Soda Bread!

Thursday, March 20, 2014

How much fun was it to add a little bit of sourdough to our St. Patrick's Day??

We love how easy it ended up being to make an Irish Soda bread! A great, quick, and delicious use for some excess starter. Irish Soda breads definitely need to be made all year long, not just in March! These are simple breads, but you can enjoy them plain, with dried fruits, or with seeds as well, and they are delicious no matter what you pick!

And what could be better than that? Easy use of sourdough discard? Versatile and delicious? Perfect!

So link up! And check out all the other amazing Irish Soda Breads that we made with our starters, and don't forget to stop back in a few days and check out what we will be making next!

Our friend Andie made these delicious Sourdough Irish Soda Rolls!

All the recipes look wonderful ! Where is the recipe link for the rolls by Andie referenced in the picture? I have clicked on all the links and don't see her rolls. Thanks . c

Hi Caroline! Ande is a non-blogging participant, so I'm not sure which recipe she used. I am sure you can adapt any irish soda bread recipe by just making smaller bun sized loaves instead of one big one!
